Why I Create

Hello! My name is Shirlaine. I'm the designer and owner of Cloud Petals Co. Design has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I’ve loved drawing and creating since childhood, and that passion has only deepened over time.

After years in the corporate world, becoming a mom to two wonderful daughters changed everything. I embraced life at home, but always dreamed of returning to creativity in a way that felt meaningful.

Now, I’m sharing my work through this shop, connecting with fellow crafters and creatives who love the charm of the past as much as I do.

My inspiration comes from vintage typography, old shop signs, and ornate lettering from the 1800s and early 1900s. I believe it’s the fine, delicate details that give design its soul and that’s exactly what I aim to capture in each piece.
